What were you doing one year ago today?

Seeing as how I didn't blog at all on March 19th, 2006, and that it was a Sunday, and that the next day, March 20th, I posted photos of it, I must have been snowshoeing on Mount Seymour. You can see the photos at the set I created, or through the Mount Seymour tag on my weblog (which syndicates my photos from whatever social photo sharing service I happen to be using primarily at the time). It was the third time I had been snowshoeing: the first time was a night snowshoe with colleagues after a conference, the second time I complained about how hard it was to my girlfriend, and the third time was actually harder (more hills, up and down, whereas the second time was all up), but more enjoyable. I've done it a couple times since, once with my girlfriend on Grouse Mountain (the chair to the mountain was really expensive, so I don't know if I'll snowshoe there anymore), and another time alone on a rainy Sunday. It's great exercise, outdoors, in the snow, and usually a social event, since I usually go with a group or with a friend.
